Job Summary
The Transportation/Traffic Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing transportation systems and traffic operations to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility.

This role involves preparing traffic studies, modeling and forecasting, developing roadway and intersection designs, and recommending improvements to enhance traffic flow and public safety.

The engineers will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, government agencies, and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that meet regulatory standards and community needs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs) and traffic studies to evaluate road network performance and recommend traffic mitigation measures
• Develop Transportation Master Plans that integrate land use planning and incorporate multimodal transportation strategies
• Develop traffic models using relevant traffic and transportation engineering software such as PTV Vissim, Bentley SYNCHRO, AutoTURN
• Derive and analyze transportation-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as person trip generation, mode split, vehicle trip generation, and internal-external trip distribution
• Review and evaluate road network design and hierarchy for code compliance, best practices, and demand forecasts
• Perform gateway analysis and develop strategies to enhance regional accessibility, mobility, and connectivity
• Analyze parking demand and formulate parking strategies
• Assess transit demand and develop internal and external transit strategies, including route planning
• Prepare technical reports and participate in meetings and presentations as required

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. A post-graduate degree is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years' experience
• Extensive knowledge of PTV Vissim, Bentley SYNCHRO, AutoTURN, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Applications
