About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to manage the financial operations of a portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs). This role requires strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You'll be working with a supportive and professional team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CPA license preferred
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned communities
  • Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct senior-level reviews of Accounts Payable transactions
  • Prepare comprehensive CPA audit packets
  • Assist in the preparation, entry, and review of annual budgets
  • Record monthly journal entries on an accrual basis
  • Provide financial support and guidance to HOA Boards of Directors as needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in HOA financial management or professional accounting (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Responsive, reliable, and able to manage interactions with diverse personalities professionally
  • Capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Willing to work duringUS business hours (night shift, PH time) for full time, 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday)
