Company Overview:

We are a commercial property business based in California, USA, managing real estate operations and tenant accounts. We are seeking a part-time CPA/Accountant in the Philippines to support our tax compliance, audit preparation, billing, and financial reporting needs.

The CPA/Accountant will work remotely to assist with:

  • Reviewing and preparing documents for U.S. tax filings (federal and state).
  • Supporting tax audits, refiling, and compliance requirements.
  • Reconciling credit card and bank statements.
  • Preparing accurate financial reports to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go over taxes, property-related expenses, and prepare supporting schedules.
  • Assist with filing and refiling U.S. taxes (in coordination with U.S. tax preparers, if applicable).
  • Organize and provide documentation for IRS, state, or audits.
  • Track billing statements, invoices, and collections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide recommendations for improved compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license required.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and audit.
  • Prior exposure to U.S. tax/accounting (especially real estate or property management) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of depreciation, property taxes, and real estate financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working part-time with some overlap in U.S. business hours (California time), around 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM (IST).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php800.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
