Job Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client accounts, and achieving sales targets for freight forwarding services. This role requires a strong understanding of shipping processes, logistics documentation, and customer service to deliver efficient and competitive transport solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new clients for air, sea, and land freight services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Conduct client visits and presentations to promote logistics solutions
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts for freight services
  • Coordinate with operations, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure service satisfaction
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and rate movements
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide timely reports to management
  • Represent the company in networking events, trade shows, and client meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping
  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic freight processes (FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
  • Willingness to travel for client visits or account management
