We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Senior Architect to lead the design, development, and execution of complex architectural projects within our firm in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will possess strong design leadership, deep technical expertise, and an expert understanding of Philippine Building Codes and local regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client and Design Management:

- Coordinate with clients to acquire and confirm initial design requirements,

manage expectations, and solidify the overall project scope to guide the entire

project team.

- Manage and implement client instructions and design variations, ensuring they

are accurately translated into site implementation and documentation.

  • Lead and manage projects through all phases: design, documentation, and construction administration.

  • Serve as the Design Team Lead and Project Architect, ensuring design output is delivered on time, on budget, and meets high quality standards.

  • Ensure strict compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096), Fire Code (RA 9514), and local zoning ordinances.

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of complete architectural drawings and documentation for building permits to local government units (LGUs).

  • Sourcing and Specifications: Be responsible for researching, sourcing, and providing detailed technical specifications for all material finishes (e.g., tile, paint, fixtures) to meet design intent, cost targets, and local standards.

  • Inter-Company Coordination: Coordinate closely with sister companies (e.g., construction arm, interior design team) to ensure seamless integration of construction feasibility and design requirements as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate and manage project teams, external consultants (structural, MEPF), and client relationships.
  • Mentor and supervise intermediate and junior architectural staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Architect (R.A.) in the Philippines (PRC License required).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in an architectural firm, with significant experience in a design leadership or project architect role.
  • Expert knowledge of Philippine Building Codes and permitting processes is mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and professional rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray).
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn and implement new BIM software and digital tools (e.g., Revit).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
