Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using
    AutoCAD
    ,

    Civil 3D
    , and other relevant design tools.
  • Develop and manage 3D models to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure designs meet client specifications, ANZ standards or similar, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical reporting.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Mentor junior designers and review their work for technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with ANZ-based stakeholders and clients for project updates and reviews.
  • Stay updated with ANZ design standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Support tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical proposals when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years
    of engineering design experience with a background and interest in
    roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, water, sewer and other utility services designs, pavement design
    , and related civil infrastructure.
  • Proven skills in
    design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar
    .
  • Proficiency in industry design software
    , including

    ,
    Civil 3D
    , and
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a remote or multi-location team setting.
