Position: Asset Performance Engineer – Team Leader

Location: Eastwood, Quezon City

Salary: ₱40,000 – ₱50,000 (basic only)

Work Setup: On-site

Work Shift: Shifting

Target Start Date: November 7, 2025

Key Purpose of this Role

The Performance Engineer is responsible for several key activities that facilitate the continuous operation of Solar PV systems post-installation. These include system monitoring, remote troubleshooting and technical support, service case tracking, performance analysis and reporting, and project onboarding. This involves working closely with the Service and Quality Assurance Team to manage assets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the asset performance engineers, technical engineers, and tech support engineers.
  • Utilize monitoring software to analyze system performance and identify faults.
  • Prioritize activities to ensure systems meet performance levels.
  • Liaise with the Service and Quality Assurance Team to track service cases.
  • Provide remote technical support for contractors to investigate and resolve faults.
  • Review documentation submitted by contractors from scheduled and reactive site visits.
  • Produce system performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collate data for LGC claims.
  • Liaise with system component suppliers for technical support and warranty claim approval.
  • Create bill of materials for service cases requiring component installation.
  • Conduct technical onboarding of projects post-installation, including design and operation review.
  • Interface with Project Engineers to improve designs and methodologies based on technical issues identified.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, customers, and other business units to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Record and report lessons learned to improve processes in Asset Management and the wider business.

HSE Accountabilities

  • Ensure contractor engagement aligns with the contractor management framework.
  • Assist with the investigation of incidents and near misses arising from project work.
  • Ensure corrective or improvement actions from incident investigations are closed out within agreed timeframes.
  • Support the HSE function in delivering initiatives designed to improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications, Key Skills, and Experience Required

  • Bachelor of Photovoltaic/Renewable Energy Engineering (or similar).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Solar PV System design and/or monitoring.
  • Expert knowledge in Solar PV System monitoring software with proven experience troubleshooting system issues.
  • Excellent technical and practical knowledge of Solar PV System design, installation, and operation.
  • Proficient with relevant Australian Standards related to PV installations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and adaptability.
  • Willing to work on-site in Eastwood, Quezon City, and amenable to a shifting schedule
  • Should not be a job hopper (less than a year per company).
  • Must be a Filipino resident

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
