Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing, data entry, research, and recording, ensuring the maintenance of accurate and complete financial records.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and other necessary documents.
  • Take on additional tasks or projects to gain a deeper understanding of accounting and office operations.
  • Aid in the compilation and analysis of financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures to enhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business related any related program
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced, start-up work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks with tight deadlines; capable of handling pressure well, especially during audits and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and applying new skills.
