What You'll Do

As an Accountant I – Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payables and compliance with company and government requirements. Your main duties include:

  • Verifying and receiving payment vouchers from other departments.
  • Maintaining and updating subsidiary records for car rentals and related expenses.
  • Monitoring payment details for all invoices and payment vouchers for both trade and non-trade transactions.
  • Assisting in releasing checks
  • Handling IAAS inputting for non-trade payment vouchers
  • Handling IAAS inputting of accruals for month-end transactions.
  • Checking and encoding invoices/schedules in compliance with BIR requirements for VAT refunds.
  • Organizing supplier and sub-contractor invoices following the Input and Output VAT Schedule.
  • Verifying supporting documents for gasoline, and RFIDs expenses.
  • Assisting with tax refund documentation and other related accounting tasks.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related accounting course.
  • Preferably a graduate of BS Accountancy.
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Knowledge of BIR compliance, VAT schedules, and tax refund documentation is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati City.
