We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a complex, multi-cloud environment, demonstrating a strong foundation in both traditional and modern infrastructure practices, with a focus on automation and security.
Key ResponsibilitiesMulti-Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure components within AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud environments.
- Ensure cross-cloud consistency, connectivity, and best practices across all environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation:
Develop, manage, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to ensure environments are provisioned, configured, and managed consistently and repeatedly.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and system management.
Identity and Access Management (IAM):
Administer and support our Identity and Access Management platforms, including Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management.
- Manage and secure corporate identities and services using Active Directory (AD) and its integration with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AD, AWS Directory Service).
System Operations and Reliability:
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across all cloud and on-premises resources to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform system tuning, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident response for critical infrastructure issues.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements across all managed systems and cloud services.
- Participate in security audits and vulnerability remediation efforts.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with development (DevOps) and other IT teams to support existing infrastructure.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all system configurations, architecture, operational procedures, and playbooks.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
- Cloud Platforms: Proven, hands-on experience with at least two of the following major cloud providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automation/Scripting: Strong proficiency in a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for system administration and automation.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep working knowledge and experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Identity: Hands-on experience administering and supporting Okta and/or Active Directory (AD), including SSO.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server operating systems.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)..
