Position Title: Finance Manager
Department: Finance and Accounting
Reports To: President / Chief Executive Officer
Work Location: Parañaque City
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
I. JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the overall financial health of the company. This includes overseeing financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The position ensures that the company's financial operations are conducted in accordance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations, while providing strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounting Department, including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and inventory cost accounting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, systems, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against targets.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital expenditures to ensure operational and financial stability.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, banks, and government agencies for audits, tax filings, and compliance matters.
- Ensure compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Analyze financial trends and provide management with insights and recommendations for cost reduction, profit maximization, and business improvement.
- Oversee accurate and timely computation of cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory valuation.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and professional development.
- Support management in evaluating business proposals, investments, and expansion opportunities.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by top management.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, with two (2) years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting, taxation, and internal control systems.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High sense of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

- Occasional extended hours during month-end, year-end closing, or audit season.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
