About the role

The successful candidate shall be working closely with the Laboratory Manager in both new product development and product enhancements.

What you'll be doing

He/she shall:

  • perform experiments utilizing approved techniques and equipment;
  • gather data i.e. routine logging and testing of samples;
  • process, organize, summarize, and report results
  • assist in the design of laboratory experiments, techniques, and protocols
  • perform related laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and cleaning equipment and ordering supplies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science in Food Technology graduate or equivalent degree
  • BS Food Technology fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience if not a Food Tech graduate
  • Basic skills in sensory evaluation applications and analysis
  • Proficient in formal report writing
  • Knowledge in meat processing, thermal processing and freezing
  • Organized and effective time management skills
  • Having trainings in sensory evaluation, shelf-life and thermal processing is an advantage
