About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at MY INN HOTEL GROUP' in Calamba City, Laguna. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel, contributing to the overall success of the business. What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Hotel Operations Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
  • Liaise with department heads to coordinate staff scheduling, manage budgets, and implement policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and effectively
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the hotel
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to drive occupancy and revenue
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Operations Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with guests, staff, and stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
