Role Description

The
Quality Control Analyst
ensures that all products meet established quality and regulatory standards by performing inspections, laboratory testing, and data analysis throughout the production process. The QC Analyst safeguards product integrity, compliance with company specifications, and adherence to applicable laws such as FDA and GMP guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Product Testing and Inspection:
    Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, including packaging inspections for specification conformity.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Accurately record, analyze, and report test results to ensure traceability, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
    Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and regulatory guidelines, documenting non-conformances, deviations, and product defects.
  • Process Support:
    Collaborate with Production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and participate in investigations of product complaints or batch failures.
  • Equipment and Laboratory Maintenance:
    Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring cleanliness and organization of the QC laboratory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality control or laboratory testing; fresh graduates with strong technical skills may be considered.
  • Experience in cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as GMP, GLP, Pollution Control, or professional licensure in Chemistry/Pharmacy are a plus.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in testing, documentation, and compliance.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability to collaborate across departments and respond to shifting priorities.
