Key Responsibilities:

Sales Accounting:

  • Monitor daily restaurant sales (POS, online orders, delivery apps) and reconcile with bank deposits.
  • Review and verify sales reports from all outlets, including dine-in, takeaway, and third-party delivery platforms.
  • Reconcile credit card, digital wallet, and cash sales on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Track and reconcile discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary items.
  • Ensure correct application and reporting of VAT/GST or other applicable taxes on sales.
  • Coordinate with outlet managers to ensure accuracy in cash handling and deposit slips.

Audit Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits of restaurant operations to verify compliance with financial and operational policies.
  • Review petty cash usage, inventory reports, and wastage records for discrepancies.
  • Examine point-of-sale (POS) data and kitchen order tickets (KOTs) for inconsistencies or revenue leakage.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for external audits.
  • Identify and report financial or procedural irregularities and suggest corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting and restaurant POS systems
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations and revenue flows.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, reconciliations).
