About the role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist with a passion for maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment. In this full-time, hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the company's Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (E2HSMS) to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices. Your role will be crucial in protecting the wellbeing of our employees and the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, implementing and continuously improving the E2HSMS to meet business needs and legal requirements
  2. Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate control measures to mitigate identified risks
  3. Providing training and guidance to employees on EHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
  4. Investigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
  5. Monitoring and reporting on EHS performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  6. Liaising with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to ensure compliance
  7. Participating in the development and review of EHS-related plans, procedures and programs

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role
  3. In-depth knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address EHS risks
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
  6. Proficient in the use of EHS management software and data analysis tools
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
