Job Description

  • Processes and Protocols

  • Assist in developing and applying the Company Project Controls Processes, Procedures, Standards and Protocols.

  • Assist the Project Controls Manager in ensuring that the assigned projects and the execution of the associated contracts adhere to these established Processes and Standards.
  • Support in the standardization of all required company Project Reporting Templates, internal and external.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Assist in the development and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, including milestones, activities, and timelines. Where projects involve multiple separately contracted packages, the schedules shall integrate and coordinate the delivery obligations of the various parties.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering team, procurement team, permits team, construction team, and other stakeholders to help create realistic and achievable project plans that comply with the company's objectives.
  • Work closely with the scheduling team during the development and integration of the project schedule and ensure the project scope, contractual requirements, and obligations are fully covered.
  • Assist the scheduling team in getting accurate progress updates and forecast the completion of the projects.
  • Assist the Project Controls Manager on the Extension of Time claims and delay analysis.

  • Cost Management

  • Assist in developing and managing the budget in collaboration with the Development project team, considering applicable contract milestone payments.

  • Monitor project expenditures and be familiar with cost control systems.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Admin Team and the Cost Controller to prepare an accurate project cost report.
  • Work closely with the Cost Controller to determine the at-completion cost of each project.
  • Collect, record, and assist in analyzing cost data to identify variances and trends, providing recommendations for cost optimization, and maintaining a forecast cost-to-compete.

  • Risk Management

  • Assist in identifying potential project risks early in the project cycle, develop risk mitigation strategies with all associated Stakeholders, and support successful closures.

  • Assist the Project Controls Manager in setting up the Risk Management System.
  • Maintain the project risk register per project.
  • Assist the project controls manager to conduct regular risk review meetings with the project teams.
  • As a matter of priority, frequent assessments of project risks with the project teams and recommended measures to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

Job Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or Quantity surveying.

  • Minimum 5 years' project control experience, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.

  • At least 3 years of site construction or on-field experience would be highly preferable.

  • With knowledge of MS Office (preferably in MS Excel) and Primavera P6.

  • With a background in planning, scheduling, and costing norms.
  • With knowledge of construction management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and connect with different individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work in Real, Quezon Province and okay to work 6x a week onsite.
