Overview

The Project Engineer plays a key role in the on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality residential housing projects. As a lead field engineer, this role is responsible for overseeing construction activities, directing on-site personnel, and providing essential technical support to ensure the smooth implementation of engineering plans and standards. This position requires a combination of strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing multiple responsibilities, coordinating with both internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Civil Engineer and/or background in Construction Management.
  • At least 6 years of experience in project or site engineering, preferably in mass housing or residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of civil/structural construction methods and terminologies.
  • Familiar with land development activities and housing construction processes.
  • Proven experience in quality control and construction methodology.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Resourceful in resolving issues and improving on-site workflows.
  • Proficient in drafting technical documents, letters, and construction reports.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Makati, Cavite, or assigned locations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of engineering designs, ensuring construction follows plans and specifications.
  • Provide technical support to field crews, including survey staking, layouting, and elevation controls.
  • Oversee quality control of construction works, materials, and methods to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Conduct material testing and coordinate QA/QC inspections for both land development and housing units.
  • Prepare technical drawings and documentation as needed for ongoing projects.
  • Manage project resources, including takeoffs, procurement, material delivery validation, and usage monitoring.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, construction workers, and other site personnel.
  • Review and approve contractor billings and work accomplishments.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs from procurement to construction.
  • Act as the key liaison for any design-related issues or changes, working with consultants and internal teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of special construction projects within the site.
  • Monitor manpower deployment and ensure timely delivery and storage of materials on site.
  • Recommend improvements in work processes to minimize delays and increase efficiency.
  • Evaluate project progress and ensure alignment with set timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
Employment Details

Type: Full-Time

On-Site Location: Makati City (Main Office) and Tanza Cavite (Project Site)

Hours: 9AM to 6PM (Monday to Saturday)

  • Salary Range: Php 25,000 to Php 28,000
