DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary:

The Recruitment and Placement Officeris responsible for performing activities in the human resource area which includes employment specialists who screen, recruit, interview, and place employees in the organization.

  • Identify roles to be filled within the organization and updates the organizational structure when required.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and pass on recommendations to departmental heads who will make the final decision.
  • Develop working relationships within, government recruitment agencies, universities to aid in recruiting.
  • Assist in conducting exams for applicants if needed.
  • Encode important information into the records management database, maintains files and records on an ongoing basis.
  • Organize appointments, interviews and company presentation.
  • Participate in writing, editing or developing job postings. Contributes to the design and editing of publicity material.
  • Maintain and keep updated employer records and employee applications.
  • Generate recruitment related reports.
  • Perform reference and background check for potential employees.
  • Assists prospective employees in completing employment application and other forms.
