I. JOB SUMMARY

Leads the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of restaurant systems and process improvements across all branches. Integrates technology with industrial engineering principles to drive operational efficiency, systems standardization, and scalable business processes. Works cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Finance, and Training to ensure systems effectively support business needs and strategic goals. Ensures system design and usage align with optimized restaurant workflows to consistently achieve operational excellence by delivering superior guest experience, quality food, and exceptional café and kiosk ambiance that embody the Goodness of Home through easily replicable standards.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Strategic Systems Management

  • Develops and executes the roadmap for restaurant systems (POS, inventory, kitchen display, queueing, etc.) aligned with operational and business goals.
  • Identifies emerging technologies and system enhancements that improve productivity, cost-efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Leads systems upgrades and transitions while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Operations Optimization

  • Applies tools (time-and-motion studies, line balancing, value stream mapping) to streamline restaurant workflows.
  • Standardizes restaurant processes and ensures alignment with system capabilities.
  • Oversees capacity planning and labor optimization through data-driven analysis.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Leads and develops a team of systems officers, auditors, and supervisors, ensuring high performance and capability development.
  • Manages task assignments, performance evaluations, and mentorship of staff within the Systems group.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Project Management and Rollout Execution

  • Oversees planning and execution of new system deployments, upgrades, and branch rollouts.
  • Coordinates with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Conducts post-implementation reviews to capture learnings and areas for enhancement.

Data and Performance Management

  • Builds dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key operational and systems performance indicators.
  • Uses analytics to assess productivity, system utilization, compliance, and cost control.
  • Recommends corrective actions and leads root cause analysis for recurring systems issues.

Training, Compliance, and Change Management

  • Collaborates with HR teams (L&D, OD) to design training programs and onboarding for system usage and best practices.
  • Ensures proper documentation of SOPs, system workflows, and user guidelines.
  • Drives user adoption and manages change initiatives related to new systems or process updates.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related course.
  • With Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive work experience as a restaurant systems manager.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, systems implementation, or operations analysis, preferably in foodservice, retail, or hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of people and operational needs to support business requirements.

Specialized Knowledge

  • Proficient in restaurant systems, inventory tools, Excel-based modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Advanced skills in process mapping, data analysis, and project management.
  • Understanding of ISO Standards in Quality Management Audit.
  • Extensive experience in Quality Management Process with proven record of excellent performance.
  • Background in Quality Assurance and Internal Audit.
