Job description:
Project and Facilities Engineer is responsible for determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements, overseeing the upkeep of equipment/supplies and safety inspections. He/She is responsible for planning and organizing the activities of personnel engaged in facilities space planning for all departments and ensures that the procedures and other operations are consistent. He is responsible for keeping himself updated and informed about all government regulations that are instituted with regard to building and facility safety standards so that he can ensure the company's compliance.
- General coordination over the operation of all electro-mechanical equipment of the common areas, and facilities of the property to keep these all in working condition.
- Preparation of and general coordination over all equipment preventive maintenance programs.
- Recommendation of measures to possible upgrading/updating of the property's facilities to further enhance its operation and desirability as a business location; provided, however, that should the COO approve the recommendations, the costs and expenses to be incurred to implement such recommendations shall be for the account of the COO.
- Provides assistance on sourcing out project based workers, monitors their attendance and the progress of their projects against target completion dates, and issues workers' salary based on their daily attendance or pakyaw rate.
- Coordination with technical maintenance personnel for repair maintenance activities necessary for the property's equipment, and make the appropriate recommendations.
Implementation of emergency preparedness programs and activities in coordination with the HR department.
Creates a project implementation plan for for every construction project of the farms
- Updates the Project Implementation Tracker to monitor the daily construction progress and regularly sends reports to the top management.
- Ensures that the farm construction project is compliant with the documentation process required by the specific LGU where the farm is located at.
- Prepares cost estimates to support the budgeting process of construction projects in coordination with the APS Department.
- Prepares the budget requests with ample time to ensure that projects are completed within the expected timeline
- Prepares drafts and construction layouts
- After meeting the CEO's design expectations, he or she is responsible for certifying the finalized project design and layout
- Oversees that end to end ops and other construction projects assigned
- Ensures that all materials are requested ahead of schedule
- Ensures that project timelines are followed and the expected quality of work are always met
- Conducts on-site investigations to identify possible challenges that may arise before, during and after construction period.
- Coordinates with the Team with regards to plans and construction updates.
- Determines the necessary installation or repair service, as well as the corresponding cost/budget.
- Monitors and implements project schedule/timeline as set by the COO, submits regular reports and files maintenance records.
- Prepares punch lists and conducts a quality inspection of projects prior to turnover and acceptance.

- Complies with the Master Operating Procedures (MOPs) at all times.
- Read/ Understand and be aware of all MOPs and Work Instructions which are available online in the Library of MOP's in your department, so that you are able to comply with best practice.
- Performs other tasks as may be required and as deemed necessary by the immediate superior.
- Ensures that all facilities meet proper government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.
- Manages the cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and the premises in close coordination with the Security Supervisor.
- Coordinates closely with the Security Supervisor and HR on the Security and Safety procedures of the company.
- Coordinates closely with HR, The Safety Committee and the Security Supervisor on the implementation of the Disaster Preparedness Training.
- Prepares monthly reports for the COO/CHRO and Admin Manager to inform them of the status update on issues pertaining to Facilities Management.
- During calamities, he is willing to be a first responder in the facility to ensure the safety of both personnel and property.
- Collects rental payments and negotiates on past due issues of lessors in coordination with the Finance Department
- Responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of all plants and vertical farms on-site.
- Protecs all art pieces on-site.
- He/she may be assigned to a different yard/office if/when the need arises.
- There will be work on Saturday.

- Coordinates with the purchasing department in sourcing out possible suppliers for the material requirements, canvass, orders, and facilities procurement of various materials/requirements for the project.
- Negotiates and coordinates with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of BS Civil Engineering
- Must be a licensed Civil Engineer
- Must have at least 2 year work experience
- Willing to travel.
- Knowledgeable on google applications - Trackers, Project Implementation Plans
- Resourceful, creative, persuasive
- With good communication and presentation skills.
