Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled US Accountant to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end US accounting functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, handling tax filings, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of US accounting standards, experience with US taxation, and the ability to work with clients in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle US tax compliance including federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Perform account reconciliations, general ledger management, and journal entries.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with US auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with US financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and system implementations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (US or PH) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in US accounting or US tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US taxation laws.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on a US time zone and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with US clients or BPO/Shared Services setup.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and multi-state tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting is a plus.
