Director of Finance– Retail

Job Summary:

The Finance Director will lead the overall financial strategy and operations of the company, ensuring profitability, sustainability, and compliance. This role requires strong expertise in financial planning, investment strategies, capital management, and retail operations. The Finance Director will provide strategic guidance to senior management and support business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage investments, assess risks, and provide recommendations to maximize returns.
• Ensure proper cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
• Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor retail operations to optimize profitability, cost-efficiency, and ROI.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, integrity, and accountability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership in making data-driven business decisions.
• Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities relevant to the retail sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CFA preferred; MBA is an advantage).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in investment management, capital allocation, and risk assessment.
• Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and ERP systems. (e.g., SAP or Business Central)
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• High level of integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php130, Php150,000.00 per month
