Job Summary:

The Audit Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing internal audit operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and integrity of all financial and operational activities within the mall. The role focuses on evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to strengthen the company's governance and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute the annual internal audit plan covering financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  • Conduct regular and special audits to review internal control systems, cash handling, inventory management, tenant contracts, and compliance with mall policies.
  • Identify potential risks such as fraud, revenue leakage, and operational inefficiencies, and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with mall operations, accounting, finance, and tenant relations departments for follow-up and resolution of audit findings.
  • Supervise and train audit staff to ensure audit programs, working papers, and reports are accurate and properly documented.
  • Ensure that audit activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR, local tax laws).
  • Utilize audit tools and data analytics to evaluate and interpret financial and operational data.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor the performance of tenants and assist in decision-making through audit insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • At least 5 years of experience in auditing, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role (experience in a mall or retail industry is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting systems, or audit management software.
  • Willing to conduct on-site audits and occasional weekend work, depending on the audit schedule.

Work Location: CB Mall, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan
