Job Summary

The FinOps Analytics Engineer will be responsible for automating workflows and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that improve customer cloud environments, along with providing detailed reports and analysis for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) and Personal Customer Technical Officers (PCTOs) to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Automate processes and reduce manual work by implementing scalable solutions for recurring tasks.
  • Own monthly operational reporting, including development of front-end components and supplementary reports for in-scope customers.
  • Analyze and maintain customer cloud environments, ensuring adherence to Well-Architected principles and proactive issue resolution.
  • Streamline documentation by updating internal knowledge bases and work instructions for accuracy and clarity.
  • Leverage insights from management portals (e.g., Defender for Cloud, Azure Advisor, CloudHealth, MCS Portal) to drive optimization and value for customers.
  • Raise and manage support requests for data feed issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MS SQL Server.
  • Design and implement microservices, APIs, and integrations, and manage Azure environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and performance, while writing and maintaining RESTful APIs and services.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug software, implementing security and data protection measures.
  • Monitor production systems, analyze logs, and propose proactive improvements.
  • Handle change requests, including testing, approvals, and deployment, and prepare technical documentation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Finance with an IT focus.
  • At least 3 years related work experience
  • Experience working in agile, collaborative environments and driving change across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing customer deliverables.
  • Experience with source control, scripting, and data modeling tools.
  • Amenable to work on a day shift work schedule in Ortigas (AU working hours, hybrid work setup)
