Location: Ortigas/Makati, Philippines (Full RTO for first 3 months; Hybrid thereafter – 3x a week onsite)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data solutions on our Enterprise Data Platform. You will build scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and analytic applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and implement data solutions, including ingestion pipelines, storage, and processing using Azure Data Platform and Databricks.

·       Create and maintain data models, schemas, and structures for reporting and analytics while ensuring scalability and data integrity.

·       Integrate, transform, migrate, and extract data across various systems with precision and uniformity.

·       Develop and optimize data workflows, automation, tools, and API integrations.

·       Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to support data needs, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting.

·       Perform unit and integration testing, provide UAT support, and assist in pre- and post-implementation activities.

·       Implement DevOps practices and automation workflows to streamline development, deployment, and monitoring of data pipelines.

·       Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and analytics applications.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· –5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer focused on data engineering and analytics.

·       Proficient in SQL, Python, Shell, Scala, and data processing using Apache Spark and Databricks.

·       Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform.

·       Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and integration patterns.

·       Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus).

·       Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is an advantage.

·       Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and attention to detail.
