Stone & Pebble Café is looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee both our café kitchen and commissary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, efficiency, and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Corporate Chef in planning, organizing, and managing all kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of continental and local dishes suitable for a café concept.
  • Handle product costing, menu planning, and food portioning to ensure profitability.
  • Maintain quality control and consistency in all food served.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier coordination for both the café and commissary.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Assistant Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong background in both continental and Filipino/local cuisine.
  • Knowledge of product costing, menu development, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexible and willing to handle both café and commissary responsibilities.
  • Experience as a Pastry Chef and/or Chocolatier is advantageous but not essential.
