Job summary:

  • Expected salary: ₱60,000 - ₱90,000 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize our Shopify website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
  • Build custom Shopify apps or extensions to enhance the functionality of our e-commerce platform.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Implement best practices for SEO to enhance site visibility and search rankings.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot issues to enhance speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to continuously improve the online shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain and optimize existing codebase for performance and scalability.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in full-stack development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, , React and Liquid.
  • Experience in building and maintaining Shopify apps or extensions.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Shopify's APIs and the ability to integrate with third-party services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
