Senior Front-End Engineer - Shopify Projects

The Role

We're looking for a talented front-end developer who lives and breathes all things digital to join our dev team.

We only build e-commerce sites and specifically on the Shopify platform. This is a rare opportunity to take your development skills to the

next level whilst specialising in the most popular e-commerce platform around.

Must Have

● Experience coding clean HTML, CSS/SCSS & JS that is performant and cross

browser compatible. They keep up to date with emerging technologies and

the latest best practices.

● They know their Sections from their Divs, their Buttons from Anchor tags and when and why to use each.

● Minimum 3+ years industry experience on front-end development with a

Strong portfolio of existing projects. Experience in building Shopify (highly

preferable) sites with a template or from scratch, without the use of a base

theme, style libraries or frameworks

● Experience with build pre-processors and build scripts (NPM, webpack or

similar)

œ Can write vanilla JS without relying on frameworks such as jQuery

œ Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding

throughout the UI.

œ Have a good understanding of web accessibility

Highly regarded

œ Experience working for other Shopify Australian agencies highly preferable

œ Shopify experience highly regarded

œ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma

œ Experience with Git version control

œ Experience with the command line

œ Can understand and write PHP and or NodeJS

œ Experience with Typescript

œ Solid understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
