Contact Verification Specialist

Overview

The Contact Discovery Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching, and verifying

accurate contact and background information for individuals and organizations. This role

supports sales, recruitment, research, and operational teams by ensuring high-quality data that

improves outreach effectiveness and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct detailed online research to identify accurate contact information, including email

addresses, phone numbers, job titles, and social media profiles.

● Verify and validate existing contact data through multiple sources to ensure accuracy,

completeness, and relevance.

● Use research tools, databases, search engines, and professional networks to gather

reliable information.

● Maintain up-to-date records in CRM or database systems.

● Cross-check data using multiple verification methods to reduce errors and improve data

integrity.

● Collaborate with sales, recruiting, or research teams to understand target profiles and

data requirements.

● Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical research standards.

● Produce regular reports on data quality, research outcomes, and completed tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Strong internet research skills and familiarity with people-search tools, databases, and

professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, etc.).

● High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.

● Ability to analyze information and determine data reliability.

● Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and data management tools.

● Excellent communication and documentation skills.

● Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requests

simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in lead generation, recruiting research, market research, or data verification.

● Familiarity with data enrichment tools and techniques.

● Basic understanding of sales or talent acquisition workflows.

● Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with high-volume research tasks.
