Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Join a growing dental practice as an Insurance Verification Specialist and ensure smooth patient experiences by managing insurance processes that impact access to care. You'll handle pre-authorizations, appeals, and insurance documentation, supporting both patients and the healthcare team behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Follow up on pre-authorizations and manage approval workflows.

  • Submit appeals for denied pre-authorizations to insurance companies.

  • Organize patient insurance folders and handle correspondence.

  • Support front desk with administrative and insurance-related tasks.

  • Work directly with insurance portals and patient management systems.

  • Coordinate with the practice team to ensure smooth patient care.

Requirements

  • Experience in insurance verification or healthcare administration.

  • Strong attention to detail for patient records and insurance documentation.

  • Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.

  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn patient management systems.

  • Bonus: Dental or medical insurance experience.
