Job Summary:

The Assistant Service Manager supports the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service department. This role ensures efficient workflow, high-quality vehicle repairs, and excellent customer service while assisting in managing technicians, service advisors, and workshop staff. The ideal candidate has a strong background in service operations, leadership, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Operations & Workflow

  • Assist in managing and coordinating repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling of repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Monitor job completion times, quality of work, and adherence to service standards.

Customer Service & Satisfaction

  • Support service advisors in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Ensure accurate estimates, timelines, and repair recommendations are provided.
  • Help implement customer retention strategies and service improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Assist in supervising technicians, service advisors, and workshop personnel.
  • Help train staff on technical skills, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
  • Motivate and support the team to meet performance targets and improve efficiency.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor parts inventory and ensure timely ordering of required components.
  • Assist in managing service department budgets, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Identify areas to optimize resources and improve cost efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure that all service activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records for repairs, inspections, warranty claims, and customer feedback.
  • Enforce workplace safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in automotive service operations, workshop management, or a related role.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and diagnostics.
  • Ability to coordinate service operations efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Experience with service management software and inventory control systems.
  • Proficient in using MS or Google Application
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to do branch visitations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
