The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Clerk to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for assisting the nursing staff by performing a variety of clerical duties. Empowered with a voice to help the unit to run independently and sufficiently with much efficiency, while pushing for innovations and quality improvements, and working with other units.

What's The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure accurate and complete patient identification, registration and charging processes.
  • Ensure that all financial activities (assets and supplies inventory, census monitoring, purchase request)are conducted within the approved budget to maximize its utilization and meet the department's financial goals.
  • Determine the line of communication between patients, medical and nursing staff, family members and significant others to establish rapport, gather necessary information and ensure collaboration.
  • Participates in corporate/department activities for professional development and growth.

Who Are We Looking For?

An effective Clerk must possess the following skills:

  • Attention to Detail:Essential for accurate registration, scheduling, billing, and overall patient care coordination
  • Organizational and Data Entry: Efficiently managing patient data allows for quick access to necessary information when needed by doctors and other staff.
  • Customer Service :Clearly communicate information to ensure a positive experience and smooth operations within the hospital. To accurately record patient information, medical history, treatment details, and other vital data into electronic health records (EHR) systems

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any bachelor's degree related to Office Administration/ Management or any related degree program. Preferably, with at least 1 year of working experience in healthcare field.
