The Community Engagement Group enables RAFI programs to engage meaningfully with stakeholders by making every RAFInian true to brand and purpose, to promote our advocacies to attract believers and to forge partnerships to achieve our social impact.

Job Description

The Advocacy Manager is responsible for developing (ideating, planning) managing, (organizing, leading and implementing) and evaluating (monitoring and analyzing) advocacy campaigns focused on the sustainability goals of RAFI and its partners. These campaigns are exhibited through events and communications materials with the goal of attracting believers and advocates towards shared goals.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

Organizes meetings, incentives, conferences and events for partners and stakeholders for knowledge sharing, exchange of best practices and sharing of change projects aimed towards creating RAFI advocates and believers.

Marketing Communications - offline and online Communications Advertising

Represents RAFI in meetings and conferences to promote RAFI advocacies. In charge of consolidating and monitoring of all the advocacies championed by RAFI through its different representations. Creates campaigns to help promote these advocacies to achieve institutionalization.

Product Marketing

Supports the programs in their events management, facilitation, and hosting. Provides guidelines in organizing RAFI events.

Research/Insights Management

Supports the programs in their information, education and communication (IEC) campaigns by providing content that is relevant, useful and on brand i.e. presentation materials, campaigns, videos, etc.

Market Development Management

Develops booklets and brochures about the RAFI programs and their advocacies for public consumption. In charge of the publication of the annual report.

Franchise Building Program

Implements resource mobilization requirements to support sustainability goals.

Training Development Management

Develops, manages, and monitors the implementation of the brand of the RAFI enterprise and its sub-brands

EDUCATION

  • A graduate of bachelor's in business sciences; Major in Marketing; Marketing Management; MassCom; Advertising or any business course

EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive 3 to 5-year work experience in an FMCG, Food Company, Advertising Agency, NGO – Foundation in managing a brand or brands

  • With at least 3 years' experience in management role

  • An understanding of Marketing processes and proficiency in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Research, Activation / Events

  • Able to manage a team of Community Advocacy Officers
