Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Customer Service Agent to join our growing support team. This is a project-based role starting in September 2025 and continuing until December 2025. The ideal candidate has excellent English communication skills, strong proficiency in Excel, and prior experience with Shopify or other e-commerce order management systems. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service to customers across various sales platforms.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 45,000-52,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Manila Time), includes 1-hour unpaid break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are based on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and occasionally phone
  • Use Excel to organize and import order data accurately into fulfillment systems
  • Process and track orders using Shopify and Veracore OMS, along with platform-specific tools like OrderDesk
  • Monitor tickets in Gorgias and route them per internal SOPs
  • Manage order changes, returns, replacements, and personalization updates
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Follow platform-specific procedures (e.g., Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair, Walmart)
  • Handle tracking inquiries and backorder communications
  • Document all interactions and resolutions clearly and professionally

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in e-commerce
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filters, pivot tables, CSV imports)
  • Experience with Shopify is strongly preferred; knowledge of other OMS or WMS platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with Gorgias or other helpdesk platforms
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment

Preferred Experience (a plus, but not required):

  • Handling Etsy, Amazon, or Wayfair customer service
  • Using Veracore OMS or OrderDesk
