CORE FUNCTION:
Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Program Management
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Program Development & Implementation
: Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's OSH program in full compliance with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) standards for low-risk establishments (RA - Policy & Procedure Management
: Design, document, and maintain clear OSH policies, procedures, and emergency response plans. Ensure all documentation is current and accessible - Risk Assessment & Auditing
: Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards common in an office environment (e.g., ergonomic risks, electrical safety, emergency egress, trip hazards) - Training & Communication
: Plan and execute mandatory OSH training for all employees and leaders. Act as the secretary for the Health and Safety Committee, organizing meetings and documenting minutes. - Incident Management
: Investigate, document, and report all workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses, recommending corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. - Compliance & Reporting
: Prepare and submit all required OSH reports to DOLE and maintain meticulous records of all safety-related activities.
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- BCP Development
: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan tailored to the company's operations in the Philippines. - Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
: Conduct BIAs to identify critical business functions, processes, and their recovery time objectives (RTOs). - Strategy & Recovery:
Develop robust recovery strategies for potential disruptions such as natural disasters, technical outages, or public health emergencies. - Testing & Maintenance:
Plan and facilitate regular BCP testing and tabletop exercises to validate plans and train key personnel. Document results and implement lessons learned to continuously improve the plan. - Crisis Management:
Serve as a key member of the crisis management team during a disruptive event, helping to coordinate response and recovery efforts.
Policy Auditing & Compliance
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with OSH and BCP frameworks, as well as other corporate governance standards.
- Develop and manage a central repository for all safety, resilience, and related compliance documentation.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management, highlighting findings and recommending improvements.
