About the role

Kempal Construction & Supply Corporation is seeking an experienced Office Engineer (Electrical Engineers) to join our team in Makati City Metro Manila. As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the electrical engineering aspects of our diverse construction projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of the company while utilising your expertise in the field of electrical/electronic engineering.

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing and interpreting electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Providing technical support and oversight to on-site electrical teams, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of electrical work
  • Collaborating with project managers, construction supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve electrical-related issues
  • Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks to monitor the progress and quality of electrical installations
  • Preparing detailed reports, cost estimates, and other documentation related to electrical engineering aspects of the projects
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering technologies, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Office Engineer or a similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design, and construction methods
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
