Job Summary:

The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring adequate stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to support operational needs. This role involves monitoring inventory movements, conducting regular stock audits, and implementing control measures to minimize losses and discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet operational demands.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments for stock requests and deliveries.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels, shelf life, and product quality to prevent wastage.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
  • Investigate and report any stock variances, damages, or losses.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • With experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
