About the role

This is a full-time position based in Cogon Compostela Cebu, reporting to the National Service Logistics Manager at Virginia Food, Inc (VFI). As the System Management Supervisor (Supply Chain & Logistics), you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's inventory, warehousing and distribution systems, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution systems
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory levels, warehouse space utilisation and logistics efficiency
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise and train a team of logistics and warehouse personnel
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline distribution processes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing, warehousing or logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory control, warehouse management and logistics
  • Proficient in using logistics and warehouse management software
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
