JOB SUMMARY:
The Z-Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities related to the Z-Benefits Package of PhilHealth, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the correct services and benefits in a timely manner.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the implementation of the Z-Benefits Package, ensuring all processes, documentation, and eligibility requirements are correctly followed for beneficiaries under the program.
- Verify the eligibility of member and dependents for the Z-Benefits Package and ensure accurate submission of required documents for claim processing.
- Assist in processing claims related to Z-Benefits, ensuring that all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Monitor the status of claims to ensure timely disbursements.
- Serves as the primary liaison between PhilHealth, healthcare providers, and members regarding the Z-Benefits Package.
- Respond to inquiries and provide guidance to members, health facilities, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of claims, beneficiaries, and other related documents.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of the Z-Benefits program, highlighting key metrics, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with PhilHealth policies, procedures, and the Z-Benefits program's guidelines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and assist in refining systems to enhance service delivery.
- Providing training and support to internal teams, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders regarding the Z-Benefits package, ensuring they are well-informed about the process and requirements.
- Organize and maintain Z-Benefits data, including claims, eligibility details, and beneficiary information, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of records.
- Investigate and resolve issues that arise during the claim or eligibility verification process, working closely with the appropriate teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in health insurance, benefits administration, or healthcare coordination.
- Experience with PhilHealth or similar program is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PhilHealth Z-Benefits Program Package, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and time-management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with healthcare management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards in the Philippines
