JOB SUMMARY:
The Z-Benefits Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to PhilHealth's Z-Benefits Package. This role ensures that eligible beneficiaries receive the appropriate services and benefits efficiently and in accordance with PhilHealth policies and guidelines.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the implementation of the Z-Benefits Package, ensuring that all procedures, documentation, and eligibility requirements are properly followed for qualified beneficiaries.
- Verify the eligibility of members and dependents for the Z-Benefits Package, ensuring accurate and timely submission of all required documents for claim processing.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of Z-Benefit claims, confirming that all documentation is complete and compliant with PhilHealth requirements.
- Monitor the progress and status of claims to ensure timely disbursement of benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between PhilHealth, healthcare providers, and members for all matters concerning the Z-Benefits Package.
- Address inquiries and provide guidance to members, healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders regarding program procedures and requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims, beneficiaries, and related documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the implementation and performance of the Z-Benefits Program, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and resolutions.
- Ensure full compliance with PhilHealth policies, standard operating procedures, and the Z-Benefits program guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of systems and workflows to improve service delivery.
- Conduct training and provide support to internal teams, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper understanding and execution of Z-Benefits processes.
- Organize and maintain Z-Benefits data, including claims, eligibility information, and beneficiary records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Investigate and resolve issues encountered during claim processing or eligibility verification, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in health insurance, benefits administration, or healthcare coordination.
- Prior experience with PhilHealth programs or similar benefit systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of PhilHealth Z-Benefits Program policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with healthcare management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Knowledge of Philippine healthcare regulations and standards.
