About Us:

ARM Balustrade is a metal fabrication and installation company based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in high-quality balustrades, handrails, privacy screens, and architectural metalworks. We work with commercial builders on a variety of exciting projects.

We're growing - and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Estimator from the Philippines to join us full-time and help us deliver fast, accurate, professional quotes for our builder clients.

Role Overview:

As our Remote Estimator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
  • Preparing accurate estimates, BOQs and takeoffs
  • Coordinating with our Director for updates, clarifications, and quote priorities
  • Make phone calls with builders and suppliers using an Australian phone number we'll provide for you

What We're Looking for in a Candidate:

We're looking for someone who communicates clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and on video calls. You should be comfortable speaking with builders and team members, asking the right questions, and making informed decisions independently when needed.

You must also be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing attention to detail.

To support this, you'll need:

  • Access to high-speed, stable internet
  • A quiet, professional workspace suitable for online meetings
  • A working webcam for regular live video check-ins
  • Ideally have experience working with Australian or NZ construction companies
  • A reliable computer or laptop capable of handling estimating software, large files, and multiple tasks

What You'll Need:
  • Experience as an estimator (construction industry preferred)
  • Ability to read architectural/engineering plans
  • Strong skills with Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a schedule overlapping AEST/Sydney time
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
  • Advanced proficiency required in Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD for complex estimating tasks
Schedule:
  • Full-time: 40 hours/week
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
  • Fully remote (Work-from-home)
