Talent Attraction & Acquisition Associate at SGV & Co. Climate change and sustainability are increasingly important on the agendas of governments and organizations worldwide. At SGV, we assist organizations in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to address risks and opportunities, while measuring effectiveness. We are global leaders in: Non-financial reporting advisory and assurance Climate change and energy Sustainability advisory and assurance Environment, health, and safety Tasks & Responsibilities Support climate resilience projects by conducting structural vulnerability assessments for private and public sector clients, focusing on climate hazards such as extreme winds and flooding. Perform on-site inspections of client assets to evaluate structural integrity, collect data, and verify analysis results.

Develop strategic structural enhancements to mitigate climate risks and enhance resilience. Contribute to damage cost assessments and risk quantification for resilience planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.

Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. At least 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering, construction, or architecture, with a focus on structural design and assessment. Experience with climate hazard modeling, risk assessment, or infrastructure resilience is advantageous.

Technical Skills Proficiency in structural modeling software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, or equivalent. Experience analyzing structures made of steel, glass, concrete, etc., under climate-related loads like wind and flood. Ability to assess vulnerabilities and damages from climate hazards, including damage cost analyses.

Knowledge of resilience strategies, structural retrofits, and infrastructure improvements, with engineering cost estimates. Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASTM) and Philippine building and structural codes.
