The Assistant Cashier/Dispatcher supports front-of-house operations by assisting in cashiering tasks, preparing orders for dispatch, coordinating order flow, and ensuring timely service to customers. This role helps maintain smooth operations between the kitchen and service areas while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cashiering Support

  • Assist the main cashier in operating the POS system during busy hours.
  • Handle basic transactions such as payment collection and issuing receipts.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Help prepare end-of-day sales summaries if needed.

2. Order Dispatching

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Check and verify items before dispatching to customers, staff, or delivery riders.
  • Organize and prioritize orders to avoid delays.
  • Maintain clean and organized dispatch counter.

3. Customer Service

  • Assist customers with inquiries and concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Provide updates on order status and estimated waiting time.
  • Ensure customer complaints are relayed promptly to the supervisor.

4. Store Operations Support

  • Assist in packing food items, beverages, and utensils for takeout or delivery.
  • Help monitor inventory of packaging materials and supplies.
  • Ensure order slips, receipts, and documentation are properly handled.
  • Follow company standards for hygiene, safety, and uniform policies.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with the main cashier and kitchen team to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Communicate delays, issues, or special requests immediately.
  • Support overall store operations during peak hours.

Job Type: Full-time
