The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, handling cash and digital payments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, honesty, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities1. Cashiering & Transactions

  • Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments.
  • Issue receipts and provide correct change.
  • Reconcile cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.

2. Customer Service

  • Greet customers politely and provide assistance if needed.
  • Answer basic inquiries about products or services.
  • Address customer concerns courteously and escalate when necessary.

3. Store Support

  • Maintain cleanliness of the cashier counter and surrounding area.
  • Assist in organizing and stocking items near the checkout area.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for security and loss prevention.

4. Reporting

  • Record daily sales accurately and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing cash reports when required.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or above.
  • Prior cashier experience preferred but not required.
  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,127.92 per month
