Main Scope:

The Service Crew is a flexible team member responsible for delivering outstanding customer service through both front-of-house (e.g., cashiering, order handling) and back-of-house (e.g., food preparation, kitchen assistance) duties. This role supports efficient kitchen operations, ensures adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards, and contributes to sales through accurate order processing and maintaining product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-of-House (Cashier & Dispatch Duties)

  • Accurately process customer orders through the POS system and issue official receipts.
  • Keep item availability updated on Alfred and third-party delivery platforms.
  • Organize and store receipts, maintain records, and assist with basic administrative tasks.

Back-of-House (Line Cook Duties)

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and ensure all tools are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain consistency.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas in compliance with health regulations.

Team & Operational Support

  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-line staff to ensure orders are prepared and dispatched on time.
  • Contribute to team operations and uphold CQSMA standards (Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, Atmosphere).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Accuracy and completeness of transaction receipts
  • Speed and timeliness in order dispatch and receipt issuance
  • Contribution to cooking and preparation time efficiency
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Effective teamwork and communication

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced food service or kitchen environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems, kitchen tools, and food preparation processes
  • Willing to work shifting schedules, six days a week
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure
