Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care Assistance
  • Helps patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Assists in turning, positioning, and transferring patients to prevent bedsores.
  • Monitors patients' vital signs and reports changes to the nursing staff.
  • Support for Medical Procedures
  • Prepares and organizes supplies and equipment for nursing procedures.
  • Assists nurses during treatments, examinations, or minor procedures.
  • Hygiene and Safety
  • Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, beds, and hospital equipment.
  • Adheres to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital guidelines.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Records basic patient information such as intake/output, weight, and other routine observations.
  • Reports patient concerns, incidents, or emergencies to the nurse promptly.
  • Other Duties
  • Transports patients, specimens, and supplies as required.
  • Participates in orientation, training, and in-service education programs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; certificate in Nursing Aide or Caregiving preferred
  • License/Certification: TESDA Nursing Aide or Caregiving NC II (advantageous)
  • Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Skills:
  • Basic patient care skills and knowledge of hygiene procedures
  • Compassionate, patient-centered attitude
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
