• Lead Technical Architecture: Design and architect scalable full-stack solutions using React frontend and backend that drive our company's next growth phase.

• Guide Technical Decisions & Code Quality: Make strategic technology stack decisions, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and maintainable code standards.

• Mentor & Develop Engineering Team: Lead and guide 3-5 talented engineers, fostering their technical growth, career development, and knowledge sharing through collaborative learning sessions.

• Drive Performance & Scalability: Optimize system performance and plan scalability strategies for growing user base and feature complexity while managing technical debt effectively.

• Execute Sprint Planning: Lead Agile methodologies to deliver features on time and within scope, collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders.

• Support Technical Hiring: Help scale the team by identifying and recruiting quality engineers who align with our technical standards and culture.

• Business-Technical Translation: Work directly with our COO to translate strategic business objectives into actionable technical solutions and roadmaps.

• Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and development standards for team consistency.

Requirements

Frontend Expertise:

• 5+ years React development with deep understanding of hooks, context, and state management

• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency with ES6+ features and type safety

• Experience with CSS/styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or similar)

• Build tools expertise: Webpack, Vite, code splitting, and performance optimization

• Testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing strategies

Backend Expertise:

• 5+ years development with or similar frameworks

• Database design and optimization experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)

• API design and development: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture

• Authentication and security: OAuth, JWT, security best practices, and data protection

• Cloud deployment experience: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Architecture & Leadership:

• Proven experience with scalable, distributed system design

• CI/CD pipelines: Git workflows, automated testing, and deployment strategies

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Monitoring and logging: Application performance monitoring and error tracking

• Team leadership experience with mentoring and developing engineers

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and specifications

• Excellent English communication skills

• High Speed Internet: 25+ mbps that can be wired to computer
