About the role

Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures Inc. is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join our team in General Santos City, South Cotabato. This full-time role is responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting services to support the company's operations and strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Performing detailed account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Providing financial advice and support to business units and management
  • Participating in process improvements and system enhancements to enhance financial reporting and controls
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA); relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates and newly licensed CPAs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices, particularly in financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven approach and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
