Aesthetic Physician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their aesthetic goals and medical history

  • Perform comprehensive aesthetic assessments, analyzing patients' facial and body features to recommend appropriate treatments

  • Develop customized treatment plans based on patients' desires, using a variety of non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as injectables, lasers, chemical peels, and other aesthetic modalities

  • Administer injections, fillers, and other aesthetic treatments, ensuring safety, accuracy, and adherence to best practices and regulatory guidelines

  • Provide pre and post-procedure education to patients, addressing any concerns and guiding them on aftercare and recovery

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements, trends, and techniques in aesthetic medicine to offer cutting-edge and evidence-based treatments to patients

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, aestheticians, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient experiences and high-quality care

  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards

  • Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance your skills and knowledge in aesthetic medicine

  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy, fostering a trusting and compassionate relationship with each patient

Aesthetic Physician Requirements and Qualifications

  • Medical degree with active PRC license

  • Experience in performing non-surgical aesthetic procedures and treatments is a plus but not necessary

  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical principles related to aesthetic medicine

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients to understand their goals and concerns

  • Attention to detail and artistic aptitude to create natural-looking aesthetic enhancements while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction

  • Familiarity with cosmetic products, injectables, lasers, and other aesthetic tools and technologies

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of aesthetic medicine

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, providing guidance and expertise to support staff and colleagues

  • Dedication to ethical practice and compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards in the field of aesthetic medicine
